George is a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in the planning, siting, regulatory permitting, engineering and construction of electric power plants and transmission and distribution facilities. He has both field and head office experience with utilities, manufacturers, consulting and construction companies. The generation projects he has worked on in Canada range in size from 1.5 MW to 5225 MW and the grid projects have ranged from 12 kV to 735 kV.

He is familiar with the governance, organization, design and operation of electric power systems in Canada, as well as government energy policy and associated regulations.

Over the past decade, he has managed the delivery of a wide range of management and engineering consulting services to clients who are developing natural gas power plants and commercial size renewable power plants, including solar, wind and landfill gas.

George has a proven ability to tackle a wide range of technical and managerial challenges presented by clients. He readily brings the best resources to the table to address the client’s needs and provides strong leadership to those resources to deliver high quality and timely solutions. He makes sure he understands the business imperatives and constraints faced by clients and becomes a trusted partner in moving projects forward and improving the bottom line for them.

Along with being a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, George is a Life Member of the world’s largest technical professional body, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, a lifetime Honorary Member of the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors, and a graduate of the Banff School of Advanced Management.
